Tonight was the taping of the countdown to the Heroes premiere that will be aired on September 22nd before the first episode of season four. Seeing as I got tickets and we were all allowed cameras at the event, I have tons of pictures of the cast. We got to stand right next to the red carpet because there were no seats left and the actors walked right past us every time they came out of the limo. WHOLE HOLLYWOOD HATES BRAND'S HUMOUR. | |||||
 MTV Video Music Award host Russell Brand zeroed in on George Bush during his opening skit last night, but it apparently didn’t go over all that well with the Disney crowd. Certain members of the audience were left stunned when the British comic cracked: “In England, George Bush wouldn’t be trusted with a pair of scissors” and remarked about the Jonas Brothers and their purity rings. He also urged the crowd to “Please elect Barack Obama!” Oh, and he called President Bush a “retarded cowboy fella.” The least pleased of the stunned stars was none other than Miley Cyus. The Hannah Montana starlet reportedly did not “crack a smile” as she watched Brand’s Bush-bashing monologue. Near the end, Russell apologized for his remarts, saying “I don’t want to (anger) teen age fans,” but that was only after when Jordin Sparks took the starge to defend the wearing of promise rings.  Christina Aguilera channeled her inner Kylie Minogue as she sang on stage at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles today. The spacey performance of Keeps Getting Better was futuristic that even her voice was digital — as in she lip synced her way though it! Admittedly, however, the rock ‘n’ roll makeover of Genie in the Bottle was hot, hot, hot! Seconds after her performance, Xtina ran off stage and was hauled off in golf cart as her dancers applauded for her from the backlot. ( +++++++++++ ) Source.

Sean Penn @ TIFF: "Witch Hunt" Premiere | |||||
 He was grumpy as usual. Disgruntled, if anything. I didn't take these, and you can't tell, but I'm actually right next to him. He and I were both extremely put off by the paparazzi flashes in our faces (which I was so oh so nicely cut out of.) One of his bodyguards was quite nice, however. He and I are currently on our way to BFF status. On a side note, I saw Zac Efron yesterday in his extremely tight jeans. His hair looked either overgelled or greasy. Either one is arguable. He was with some particularly frumpy looking people, who may or may not have been his family. Anyone know what they look like? ( Read more... )

Evil Dead: The Musical in 3-D. | |||||
 SpookyDan stumbled on some big news at this week's TIFF. The Evil Dead Musical is coming to theaters in 3-D, according to Screen Daily! Creators Christopher Bond and choreographer Hinton Battle are set to co-direct the amazing adaptation of the stage play that has been running here in Toronto for a while. The film should go in front of the cameras in Toronto sometime next spring. "I got a change to see it last weekend," says Spooky. "For fans of the film, it's amazing, for non-fans, it’s a blood soaked comedy with some great music. The highlight song is called 'What the Fuck Was That?' " Watch for more details as they come in. Source. I never had a chance to see the show, but I've listened to some of the songs and they're pretty epic.

hey there. so i posted the other day asking for suggestions and gotta a lotta love ( thanks tons ladies:) but not that many suggestions. so i came up with something myself instead and wanted to know what y'all think. i suck balls at photoshop  the white parts would be buzzed to a 1/4 or 1/2 inch and the gray parts would be cut to around 3/4 or 1 inch. the scribbled bits would be cut so as to be shorter near the back, longer near the front left, and generally thin. i figure if i get it cut to be kinda thin i won't have to do much styling except maybe a bit of straightening and a little product.  here's my hair right this second. dyed black and lightly shaped on the sides and back. i'll have to grow it a bit before i can cut it like that... but i figure i can cut it something close to it pretty soon and then let the longer part grow for a bit. if you want to see better pictures of my head, you can go to this post thanks for the help! p.s. purple v.s. turquoise? don't mind the stupid glasses... and faces... if at all possible.

So, my hair us BREAKING off. And, I really need to get it all cut off. It's passed being recovered at this point. It I brush it it breaks off, I can't straighten it, I can't pull it back, I can't put anything in it, I can barely run a brush through it without inches of it breaking off. I really am freaking out. Can I pull of short hair? I'm talking long pixie. At this point I really have no choice, both my stylists have told me to cut if off. Pictures of short hair? Opinions on what would look good? Jordin Sparks spoke out against the British comedian's jokes about the Jonas Brothers and their purity rings before introducing T.I.'s performance. "I just have one thing to say about promise rings. It's not bad to wear a promise ring," Sparks, 18, told the crowd, off-the-cuff, "because not everybody – guy or girl – wants to be a slut."
